Pretty damn late outfit post from NYFW, but someone else took these photos and when they returned home after NYFW, they were without internet for a while. Better late than never! This night was probably my favorite night of the whole week. I went to the Threadsence party to support my girl Jenn Im of Clothes Encounters and then headed to the Lookbook party! I felt that a lot of events I went to during fashion week were kind of awkward and the conversation was stilted, no matter how bottomless the libations. It was like everyone was trying to impress everyone and nobody could be themselves. The atmosphere was quite the opposite at the Lookbook party. All the guests were relaxed, there were free manicures and a cute instant photobooth, and of course tons of champagne. I wish it had lasted all night! When it was over, my best friend Coco of Lolita Bandita and my new besties Rachel of I Hate Blonde and Shooka of The Worn Out (who, together, are literally just like Coco and me) went to a couple bars and just chilled and talked for hours. I loved this fashion week experience because I got to meet a lot of real, yet internet, friends face-to-face. And it was like I had known them my whole life. It's quite beautiful, actually.
