As much as I love colorful patterns or pretty pantsuits or streetwear, this kind of clothing is my absolute favorite: simple, flowy pieces in unique silhouettes. A little dark, yet very striking. The pieces we're spotlighting today are from independent designers. GMDCAT (Good Manners Don't Cost A Thing) nailed it with this tailed dress that's a perfect layering piece but makes a statement enough to wear on its own, like I did here. Blacknot makes high-end jewelry that I'm in love with--every piece is unique, drippy (yes, drippy), and each bead and chain link is carefully thought out to create a true work of art. Plus, all the jewelry is named after its inspiring element, in Japanese. Their new line "Darknot" comes at a fantastic price point and its simple intricacy was a perfect match with this look.
