Some of the best perks of being a blogger are the cool events you get to go to. This one in particular was thrown by Pivotal PR and I was invited by the makeup artist from my shoot on Saturday with 2020AVE, Suzie K.  They gave me chocolate everything, boozed me up, and Mika Fowler turned my hair into fairy floss for my Valentine's Day date night! The hotel itself was beautiful; Randy and I couldn't resist shooting my outfit on location. I've always wanted a trench coat but never found the perfect one until now. Trench coats look great whether they're over smart business wear or a pretty dress; you can even button them up and make them an outfit on their own. Unfortunately, they don't look that good on short people, plus I never really found an interesting enough one...it always looked better on paper/a model than on me. But this Missguided one with its tortoise shell buttons and vegan leather paneling hit the spot for me! It pairs well with nearly everything in my closet, including this ethereal UNIF dress, and literally every shoe I own.
