hello from singapore

I had the foresight to blog this outfit before I packed it away from Singapore (thank goodness). It didn't hurt that this dress one of my favorite recent acquirements. It's perfect parts grungy and chic baglady--so me. Underneath, I'm wearing yet another bikini top. This one in particular is by my friends over at Chromat from their new (and extremely affordable!) diffusion line, Bond. They're the masters at edgy garments/swimwear/lingerie that can be incorporated into a multitude of outfits, and Bond is proving no different. I've been wearing this top with like every. single. outfit. You'll see. You'll seeeeee.

This breezy dress + swim top combo has been lifesaving for Singapore's tropical weather, and I almost didn't break a sweat. Almost. My Singapore trip itself has been so rewarding--I'm here with FIDé Fashion Weeks and Asian Couture Federation working on some REALLY COOL but unfortunately top-effin'-secret stuff (soz, creatures). In the meanwhile, entertain yourself with my ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the cool experiences, amazing food, and breathtaking architecture I've been sharing on my platforms. A follower commented that Singapore fits my aesthetic so well...and I've been finding that statement ringing truer with every passing moment.

The Look:

  3. Looove that super cute oversized grey dress. At first I thought the straps were included on the dress but realized it's a bikini top. Hot either way.

  9. I love the shoes. The dress is a little too baggy for my own shape, so I'll skip that. Like the texture on the clutch though.
