in the bag

Do you ever don an outfit that's not your typical style, look in the mirror, and think, "Holy sh*it, I love this!"? Because that was exactly my reaction to this one. This look is a little preppier than my norm, but accessorizing it with thigh high boots, a killer bag, and a harness belt (duh) made it a successful style experiment. I love thinking out of the box--don't be afraid to try new things and add your own flair!

The Look:
Motel dress.
Guess boots.
Zana Bayne belt.

  6. I am actually obsessed with this look. Love the way you made the sporty dress more edgy by adding the belt.

  7. Have to admit, the short, tight dress, the long boot shafts and the belt bring this outfit on the brink of tacky. Good thing is the sportyness of the dress, taking tackyness out a bit, but its transparency doesn't help with this here.
I like the individual items very much, and I always adore your guts to wear striking and unusual combinations in public. If I do (I'm quite a daring dresser myself), I always wear my combinations the whole day round, so I have to make sure my confidence isn't dropping in the middle of the day, because I suddenly feel overdressed/too daring/too outstanding.
I'd be really interested on your approach to this - do you flaut it in public the whole day, or is it mere a shooting outfit you take off after?
