Fend for yourself

I didn't get a chance to take outfit photos after my first day in NY so here's one I took right before I left for the Big Apple! This dress is a simple LBD with criss-crossing strap detail in the front and back. I layered this embroidered fringe kimono over it. It has unique fringing and it's sheer and has a hi-low hem. I actually haven't really worn kimonos except to cover up swims, so this was my first foray into styling one! I love the delicate beauty of this one, and since it's black, it goes with pretty much everything. My necklace is a $1 buy from a street vendor in Mazatlan when I visited three years ago. And here are my current favorite shoes. I can't deal with how amazing they are!
