stairway to heaven

Today, I escaped the city to a temple around 400 years old. The staircase on the Temple of Dawn is actually nicknamed "Stairway to Heaven" because of how steep and far-reaching its steps are. I, being afraid of heights (and possibly Judgement Day), couldn't bring myself to climb more than a quarter of its steps. But even then, with every step came a fresh realization for exactly how beautiful this monument was, from the incredible and mind-boggling porcelain detailing sprawled across every surface to the aged, streaked walls and the deterioration of the stairwell.

  5. A lot of bloggers wear outfits that suit their surrounds but yours fit just so perfectly! It's almost the same pattern as the tiles & it looks like you were supposed to be wearing that there! I really love this dress.
