winter aesthetic

We're experiencing the coldest day of the year (because of wind chill...wind chill = NO CHILL amirite?) over here in New York City. I swear my ears were going to freeze and break off on this morning's walk.

I generally loathe cold temperatures, especially since I hail from eternally sunny Los Angeles, but something I adore about winter is the ability to wear layers--lots and lots of them. I layer it up hard in this all-black look with texture- and fabric-mixing. My "hairy chest vest" (at least, that's what I call it) and signature harness belt really make the look. I've always said that my winter aesthetic is part-Sith Lord and part-Brothers of the Night's Watch, and this outfit really proves my point.

The Look:
Vince coat.
MLM vest.
MLM shirt.
Joe's Jeans denim.
Creepy Yeha belt.
YRU boots.

  4. We don't get winter here, but I'm an absolute sucker for layering. Doesn't really help when we get 30*C weather here 24/7. Loving the look, Eugenie, that belt is KILLER.
